On the landslide victory of the BJP in Bengal, Hannah bemoans that it marks another step towards Modi remaking India into a Hindu rather than secular country. The result she says follows the BJP disenfranchising 2.7 million voters. Muslims and other minorities were targeted for this purge according to Hannah. Yes they were Bangladeshi Muslims who had illegally infiltrated into Bengal. There were no other minorities except persecuted Hindus from Bangladeh. They are given the right to live in India because they have nowhere to go. Hannah’s claim that the purging of illegal refugees from the voters list resulted in BJP victory is contradicted by her own source, Rahul Verma Fellow of the Centre For Policy Research in Delhi. According to him the real reason for Mamta Banerji and her TMC’s trouncing was a strong dissatisfaction with the way the state was run and the way her regime interfeared in people’s daily lives.
Mamta Banerji and her party thugs killed hundreds of Hindus. Hindus were openly being discriminated against.
One consolation for Hannah is that the Southern States remain anti BJP. Hannah should remember that even Bengal was considered anti BJP stronghold and see what happened. In Tamil Nadu the Stalin’s of this world have been taught a very good lesson by the people.
The message is clear to Hannah and all Western media and anti Hindu forces, Hindus have woken up. Hindu ethos and values will prevail in a majority Hindu India. The days when you could lecture India are gone. India is like mighty elephant paying no attention to barking dogs.
