On 1 December 2022 Guardian reporter Hanna-Ellis Peterson and another contributor Aakash Hasan fromĀ

Delhi reported on the  grave danger of the Media being stifled by the ruling party. It highlighted the take over of NDTV by Indian billionaire Gautam Adani. They approached Shakuntala Banaji, professor of media at

London School of Economics. She said, ‘ the takeover fitted into a larger, worrying trend where, the media

space for democratic information and debate in India has been relentlessly narrowing in recent years with

large media houses bought and paid for by owners with ties to the far right and allegiances to those in power’

The fact is that India has a powerful anti- BJP and PM Modi press which continuously dishes out false, biased stories to demonize Hindus and to create violence and disorder amongst communities. The New India Express, The Tribune, Scroll, Hindu and Financial Times are all quite anti-establishment and no one has stifled them just as no one has stifled the Guardian’s relentless anti-India and anti-Hindu bias.

NDTV has dumped all journalistic standards by putting out lies, fake stories and innuendos. The Media Bias/ Fact Check has this to say about NDTV: NDTV as, ‘mixed’ for factual reporting due to several failed fact checks.

A pretty damning summary.
