Essay Competition for students inLagos, Nigeria. The title for the essay was: Benefits of a Vegetarian Diet

Vaid Bharath, our lifelong member, has carefully gone through all the essays submitted by the students. Essays are marked in five categories: Relevance, Structure,Originality and Evidence, Arguments For.
Each category was assigned twenty marks, totalling a possible 100 marks

   25 June 2026 Essay Marking Table
   Essays are marked in five categories:
   Two Age Groups, 11-14 and 15-18 took part. Prizes for each group were as followd:
   Ist Prize: 50,000 Naira
   2nd Prize: 30,000 Naira
   3rd Prize : 20,000 Naira
   All other participants were given a prize of 10,000 Nira.
   The prizes were given away by Mr. Kizito a Vegan activist.
   A special thanks to Lagos based Chiemeka Chiedozie for organising the whole project.
