Amma presented with Mahaveer Award

Mātā Amṛtānandamayī Devī, better known simply as Amma presented with Mahaveer Award by Young Indian Vegetarians, UK

London, Alexandra Palace, 27 Oct 2008

The award was presented by Ramesh Mehta trustee of the Hindu Council of Kenya. presented a Mahaveer Award to Amma. He read out the inscription on the award:

 ‘Amma your love and compassion for all living beings is as deep as the ocean. You have inspired millions of people around the world. May your message of Ahimsa as taught in Sanatan  Dharma inspire the whole world’.
