In its editorial dated 25 April the Guardian indulges in another round of hate filled lies about India. Please see the link above.

Lie number 1

The Guardian claims that Modi has weakened institutions. There is nothing to back up its claim. It is simply a kick in the teeth for the fiercely independent judiciary, election commission and many other institutions.

Lie number 2

Information is censored. Again nothing to back up the claim. Only cheap and lazy journalism.

Lie number 3

Civil society hounded and protests suppressed. A flippant claim worthy of gutter press. This from a paper whose correspondents send anti India stories almost every week from New Delhi.

Lie number 4

Rendered minorities second class. Suppressing the civil rights of 200 million Muslims. How can anyone suppress 200 million people even if they wanted to? Has there been any bloodshed like in the Northern Ireland?

Lie number 5

India may give up on Democracy. Ever since India got independence almost 76 years ago the Guardian has been predicting the eminent death of democracy in India. And so they continue with their self righteous moral superiority.

Lie number 6

This is a interesting one! China’s per capita is way better than India’s. A compliment indeed for a ruthless autocratic dictatorship which during the Cultural Revolution killed almost 60 million of its own people. So while the Guardian sheds crocodile tears for the eminent death of democracy in India it has praise for the worlds most suppressed nation!

Lie number 7

Modi wants a single Hindu identity. Hindus are the majority of India and their ethos and values will have prominence. This does not take away anything from the minorties. Just as the UK remains a firmly Christian country. Indeed the forthcomimg  Coronoation of King Charles will be full of Christian symbolism. Does the Guardian have any problem with that?

Lie number 8

Modi’s parliament rests on the votes of just a quarter of the electorate. The Guardian conveniently forgets that for about 90% of the time since 1935 the, ‘majority government’ in the UK has not had the vote of the majority.

Lie number 9

BJP the ruling party taxes the poor rather than the rich! So the poor continue to give Modi a thumping majority even though he taxes them unfairly?

India is the fastest growing economy in the world, it is making unprecedented progress under the Modi leadership. India has a honest uncorrupt leader and inspite of the Guardians of the world Modi is set to win another thumping majorty in the next election.

Guardian is a paper built on the blood of Slaves. It has agreed to repent for its sins but old habits die hard.
