In the above article in the Guardian Amrit Dhillon again misleads the Guardian readers with half truths. She talks about the 26 day fast at the Cockroach Rally at Jantar Mantar by Sonam Wangchuck. His demand was the resignation of the Education Minister after the leakage of exam papers. As Amrit confirms, the Cockroach Protest was fading away before the hunger strike of Sonam Wangchuk. The protest was hijacked by anarchists, anti nationals and left wing extremists. Sonam Wangchuk has condemned the violence perpetrated by these protestors and said the criminals should be prosecuted. They vandalised buildings and set fire to cars. Amrit fails to tell the Guardian readers the abuse these anti nationals hurled at PM Modi. She fails to tell that over hundred policemen and women were injured by the protestors. She claims the Cockroach Protest has become a nationwide movement. A fake claim as the movement has all but fizzled out. She claims dissent in India is routinely suppressed. Yet she has the freedom to demonise Hindus and the ruling party and nobody has suppressed her freedom. She even makes up stories like a protestor had brought a lunch of peanuts and pickles, though she never went to the protest. The Guardian further loses its reputation with such cheap journalism.
