Guardian readers must be baffled by Hannah Ellis’s confusing articles.
Driven by anti Hindu and anti Modi mindset Hannah’s articles do not make any sense. Reporting on the protest rally organised by the Congress Party and an assortment of other insignificant parties the headline claims that tens of thousands of people joined the rally. Yet the very first lines of her article says thousands of people attended instead of tens of thousands. The rally she says was the largest show of strength by opposition parties in a long time only to contradict herself by saying that the Congress leaders had expected a million people to turn up and that the turnout was somewhat lackluster! In other words it was a flop half of Ramlila ground was empty.
Dissent she says has been systematically oppressed by the Modi ‘regime’ in the last 12 years. The word regime carries a critical and disapproving tone referring to authoritarian or unjust rulers. PM Modi is not authoritarian. He has won 3 elections. Nor is he unjust. He is a proud Hindu nationalist in a Hindu majority country. Even though Paris has been rocked by unprecedented violence no one has called Macron’s government a regime. Hannah has been so overwhelmed by her Hindu and Modi hatred that she is tarnishing the profession of journalism. Cheap journalism has made the Guardian a laughing stock. In the grand scheme of things Hannah and the Guardian are ineffective and irrelevant. PM Modi and India are marching ahead and becoming a mighty economic, political and military power. And you cannot stop it by writing nonsense.
Hannah concludes her article by claiming that the Human Rights Watch has ‘serious questions’ about the fairness of future Indian elections. HRW is supported by the Open Society Foundations whose founder is George Soros, a known Hindu hater. The other groups supporting HRW are the Sigrid Rausing Trust and the Oak Foundation. HRW receives millions of dollars from these organisations. They pay journalists to write articles to destabilise countries which they consider a danger to their ideology. It is black propaganda, disinformation, calumny and sophistory all in one. As far as India is concerned it will not allow these mercenary groups to succeed.
There is another reason for the intense propaganda campaign against PM Modi.
The government is bringing in stringent measures to stop the flow of money into India by anti Hindu groups. Organizations providing free legal aid or so called human rights education, OXFAM India, People’s Watch, World Vision India, Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, Centre for Policy Research, Lawyers Collective, Apne Aap – Women Worldwide India, Evangelical Fellowship of India, and Students’ Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh are amongst the many busybodies who will have to explain what is exactly happening with the money they are pouring into India. Known as FCRA rule it will stop the nefarious activities of those who want to cast an evil eye on India.
