The Desperation of the anti Modi forces in India.

The current war between Iran and the US and Israel has had repercussions all over the Middle East and beyond. The UK too has been dragged into the war from which it would have rather stayed away from. It was obliged to honour the long term transatlantic friendship with the US. Indeed Trump was quick to remind Starmer of his obligations. The Iranian attacks on Dubai has brought chaos and fear to many countries. The cost in the form of financial loss, job losses will impact people as far away as Philippines. Dubai with its stability and its dynamic entrepreneur spirit provided livelihood for tens of thousands of people all over the world.
Amongst all this and despite its close proximity to Dubai, India remains peaceful and thriving. However, within India the anti Modi forces have raised their efforts to somehow dislodge Modi to desperate levels. There are hints of even bypassing the democratic norms to remove Modi.
Rahul Gandhi and the left wing intellectuals and so called influncers are seizing every opportunity to take aim at Modi. In the recent past Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party tried hard to claim that elections were rigged.
Arundhati Roy and Historian Ramchandra Guha have indulged in extreme tantrums against Modi. Anti Modi forces are using social media to raise their Modi hatred to a cacaphony. They appear on Facebook many of them women wearing Saris and a bindi on their forehead to camoflouge their desperate messages. Speaking in chaste Hindi they hope to fool the audience. They tell lies, they allege women or minorities are not safe. Many Christians and Muslims largely agree with the anti Modi ecosystem.
The latest attack on Modi is that he has humiliatingly surrendered to president Trump. They accuse him of not condemning the war on Iran. Yet the Iranians have quietly acknowledged India giving shelter to around 183 Iranian sailors from their warship IRIS Lavan which was part of the three Iranian warships that had come to India. The Iranian High Commissioner to India Mom Fathali acknowledged the help given by the Indian government. The US indulged in harakiri by sinking Iranian warship IRS Dena on 4 March 2026 killing around 84 Iranian sailors. The warships IRS Dena, Busher and Lavan had been taking part in an Indian organised naval festival at the Visakhapatnam Port. Known as International Fleet Review 2026 and Exercise Milan, more than 70 countries participated in the 10 day event including US and Australia.It was when the Iranian warship was returning that the US submarine torpedod the IRS Dena near the Sri Lankan waters.
The current shortage of Gas due to war has been turned into a national disaster. There is no acknowledgement of the circumstances that has led to this situation. Iranians have blockaded the Strait of Hormuz. However they have allowed two ⁠Indian vessels, Shivalik and Nanda Devi chartered by Indian Oil Corp (IOC.NS), to safely pass through the strait.The Vessels will reach the ​western Indian ports of Mundra and Kandla on March 16 and ​17. The vessels ⁠together carry more than 92,000 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas.
The anti Modi desperados also tried to politicise India’s cricket world Cup win. Why they asked did the Cricketers go to a Lord Hanuman Mandir after their win! A lot of them would have been very happy if India had lost.
Through all this the vast majority of Indian’s remain Modi supporters. In elections the BJP is winning everywhere. including recently in Kerala. The BJP’s VV Rajesh was recently sworn in as Mayor of Kerala capital Thiruvananthapuram marking a watershed moment in the southern state’s political landscape
However Indians need to remain vigilant. The enemies of India will never stop trying.
