.Letter to Shashi Tharoor

Shashi Tharoor in today’s Independent(29 November 2021) gloats at the reversal of the Farm laws by the Modi government. At the same time he regrets that the reversal of farm laws will scupper the need for much needed farm reforms. This is the problem with politicians like Tharoor. They will side with everyone so as to prevent the ruling party from taking the country forward. Shashi Tharoor’s Congress party has done little for the country for all the years they were in power. Modi’s BJP has brought great positive changes and the people of the country know it as the party continues to win elections. The Farm laws were designed to bring prosperity to the farmer instead of the middle men but Modi reversed the laws and apologized that he could not convince the farmers of the need for the change. This is the humility of a leader not found in modern politicians. Meanwhile Shashi Tharoors Congress party has been reduced to irrelevance by the people of India. It is trying desperately to latch on to other parties in an effort to remove BJP.
