Legendary leader Desmund Tutu Passes Away-26/12/2021

The passing away of Reverend Archbishop Tutu reminded me of the following:

Some years ago I went to a meeting Reverend Archbishop Tutu was addressing. During question time I said that his commitment to non-violence was great, would he extend that to the animal kingdom and become Vegetarian?!.
He gave his infectious laugh and said we all have a duty to be kind to animals.
Then with a chuckle he said he was not going vegetarian though! I was happy to have planted the idea in him!
I try and never miss an opportunity to being up Vegetarianism/Veganism and Compassion to animals.
