The Tragedy of Hindus

1 For many years there was a Gandhi Society run by, “Prakhar’ (staunch Gandhians). Once they were celebrating Gandhi jayanti at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in London. I stood up and said that there was a Bangladeshi meat restaurant in Kennington with the name Gandhi. We should object as Gandhi was a Vegetarian, I said. The Chairwoman stood up and said Gandhi could be the surname of the owner. The audience clappped and they moved on. Anything to avoid a challenge, anything to avoid a confrantation.

This is the tragedy of Hindus.

2 PM Narendra Modi was taught a lesson because he was seen as Abhimani(proud, arrogant). To teach him a lesson Hindu organisations who preach unity day and night decided not support Modi. Modi’s abhiman took priority over the cause Bharat Mata.

This is our tragedy.

3 Lord Rama came back to Ayodhya but the BJP candidate was punished and the seat was won by a party which had little interest in Ram Mandir.

People who shout Jai Shri Ram all the time did not support Modi.

This is our tragedy.

4 We have a Hindu PM in UK which should be a matter of immense pride to all Hindus. Every Hindu ought to vote for him and the Conservative Party. Not a single Mandir, Hindu organisation or Hindu leader has spoken a word of support for Rishi. We are a Charity they will say. If there was a will one could find any number of ways to express support for Rishi. We hide behind excuses. The Charity Commission anyway is a toothless bulldog. They are not going to come chasing you. Even if it did they would caution you or in the worst scenario take away your Charity status. So what? Supporting a Hindu PM is more important.

The Hindu Manifesto has misguided the whole Hindu community. They have simply not thought this through.

The idea is that you show  your manifesto when they come to your doorstep canvasing for your vote.. They would have no time to read it. But politicians being politicians they will say sweet words. At this point the Hindu voter will vote for whoever sounds good. It could be Labour or Liberal. That will mean a Hindu not supporting a Hindu PM.

If ever there was an election when Hindus had to unite behind a Hindu leader this was it. Instead we are betraying him. Not unlike Hindus betraying Hindus throughout History.

THERE IS STILL TIME TO REDEEM OURSELVES.

We have still got a fortnight to save the situation.

a) All Hindu Mandirs should recommend voting for Conservative Party.  There are many ways you can do it without worrying about Charity Commission.

b) All Hindu organisations should ask its members to vote for Conservative.  No excuses.

c) Hindu leaders especially those who went to Rishi’s Diwali Party at 10 Downing Street. Each one of you are leaders that is why you were invited. Now is the time for you to show your loyalty.

Situations like this do not come often. You have a choice: Betrayal or Courage
