My response to the above silly article in the Times today.

Catherine Philip deserves an Olympic Medal for writings most diabolical, nonsensical , juvenile article I have ever. God she must be desperate to malign Modi. Hasina and her respected father wanted to create a liberal, tolerant Bangladesh after the civil war in which tens of thousands of Bangladeshis were killed and raped. India intervened and helped libertate Bangladesh. However the respected father of the nation Sheikh Mujbir Rehman and family of his daughter Hasina were killed. Catherine has the gumption to say the young population has no memory of the 1971 liberation struggle. With typical arrogance she says a healthier democracy survives in India. Yes the worlds largest democracy where 900 million people voted, where there was hardly any violence and the peoples verdict accepted by the masses. Would she call Keir Stammer’s response to the current riots in the country undemocratic and draconian? Would she say democracy is surviving by a thread in the UK? Sometimes I cannot know whether I am reading the Times or the Sun.
