Guardian’s usual anti Modi/BJP article on eve of Kashmir elections. Another hate filled article in the Guardian. My reply has been sent the editor of the Guardian, Hannah and Hassan.

Once again Hannah Elis Petersen and her pal Akash Hassan have teamed up to pour out their hatred of PM Modi and his so-called Hindu agenda.(The Guardian 18 September,2024, ‘Utter disillusionment: Kashmir sees first election since 2014 as chance to reject Modi’). This time it is about the elections taking place in Kashmir.
They report a huge surge in interest for the forthcoming elections, from the Kashmiris. However with the
usual jaundiced view they interpret this as anti-India and anti-Modi phenomena. The elections are taking
place and all those taking part do so as part of the Indian nation. The duo claim that the region was ‘stripped’ of its statehood. No Hannah and Hassan Kashmir was not stripped of its statehood. It was brought in line with the rest of India. The pair say Modi wants to change the demography of the Muslim majority state. For Hannah and Hassan the ethnic cleansing of tens of thousands of Hindus from the valley by Muslims is a matter of collective amnesia. For them Hindus are not humans, they are consumed by their hatred of Hindus.
They call the terrorists attacking Kashmir as, ‘purportedly’ from Pakistan’. Yes Hannah and Hassan they are not from Pakistan. They are aliens who drop down from the Sky. What else can one expect from people working for a paper built on the profits of the Slave trade.
