My reply has been sent to Hannah and Katherine Viner editor of the Guardian.

In a first after a long, long time Hannah has found time to write a critical piece on Pakistan albeit with
Shahmeer Baloch in Pakistan. Hannah is described as writing from Delhi. One would imagine Hannah
would write from Islamabad as she is writing about Pakistan. On second thoughts Delhi under the repressive regime of Modi feels safer for Hannah. Hannah has written negative stories on India for years from Delhi. In fact I do not recollect a single positive story on India by Hannah. The Guardian has no guts to put people like Hannah in China, Pakistan, Russia and many other countries. India can be called any name under the Sun precisely because it is seen as a soft touch. Now that Indian is showing a bit of aggression it is being demonised by the Guardian.
On that note let us see what Hannah has to say about Canada’s spat with India. In a new brainwave by the Guardian, this time Hannah is asked for her opinions by Nimmo Omer about the Canada situation.
Her first pronouncement is that the BJP wants everyone to rally behind a uniform single nationalist identity of India. For that reason it dislikes groups like the Khalistani movement. Strangely the Sikhs of India do not think so and that makes a nonsense of Hannah’s theory. In fact there are not many countries as diverse as India. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari countless languages, cultures and faiths live with absolute freedom. Hannah and the Guardian know this but their blinkered view stops them from seeing the reality.
Hannah then alleges a, ‘a large Indian criminal network working in Canada’ which is part of a transnational
represson! Yes India is repressing people in Canada and UK and while you are at it chuck in Ireland, Germany and any other country you fancy.
Finally Hannah warns that India will be the loser if it does not surrender to Justin Tudeaus warnings
because Canada has friends like the US and UK. It is like school children squabbling. Hannah should know better. She cannot be so naive. The Guardian is falling into new depths.
