Chetan Bhagat is one of the many Indian extremist secularists and liberals who spew hate against Hindus and Prime Minister Modi. Let’s look at the words he has used in his article on Leicester riots.
He calls Modi Hindu supremist and authoritarian. Modi has won two general elections in the world’s largest democracy. Chetan claims the Hindutva ideology of Modi cannot tolerate Muslims, Christians and Dalits. The last president of India was a Dalit appointed by Modi. There are around 200 Million Muslims, around 30 million Christians in India, the vast majority of them are living happily under the Modi leadership over the last 8 years. However the likes of Chetan Bhagat only paddle lies and half truths to demonise the Hindus. Unable to control his hatred for Modi Chetan Bhagat claims that Modi and the BJP want to remove the Muslim and Christian presence in India! He might as well have added the Zoroastrians, Baha’i’s, Tibetan Buddhists all of whom have found a safe heaven in Hindu majority India. If Chetan Bhagat had any moral courage he would have said that it is the Hindus and Sikhs who have been forcibly removed from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. When all else fails the likes of Chetan Bhagat throw the last dice and predict an eminent catastrophe facing India under the Modi leadership. The prophets of doom have been proven wrong again and again as India under Modi has become one of the fastest growing economies in the world. During the Covid crisis India under Modi gave free vaccinations to many poor countries all of whom have nothing but praise for Mody. In the grand scheme of things the Chetan Bhagats of the world are an irrelevance and discredited armchair hate mongers.
