India’s example
James Crabtree’s article on the Indian elections (World News, last week) fails to acknowledge the strength of democracy in the country. Hundreds of millions of people in all their diversity voted without fear. We should be celebrating India as a role model, rather than talking of the imagined dangers of a democratically elected party.
