Catherine Phillip and Amrit Dhillon demonise PM Modi hoping that a lie repeated again and again will

morph into a truth. They start with something that bothers them a lot, that India is a Hindu Majoritarian State.

Hindus being the majority of India it will always be a Hindu majority state. Just as the UK is a Christian majority state. It takes away nothing from the minorities. India is home to many minorities such as the Zoroastrians, Baha’is, Tibetan Buddhists, there has been a Jewish presence in India for 2000 years and there are millions of Christians. None of them complain about Hindu persecution.

The second favourite of Modi bashers is that there is no free press or judiciary. Most of the media is actually openly hostile to Modi and people like Amrit Dhillon are doing very well in demonising Modi without any fear.

To say that the judiciary is not free is an insult to a fiercely independent institution. Next the critics talk about the 2019 Citizenship Act. India wants the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants from neighbouring countries to be regularised and sent back home where necessary. Those who riot, set fire to property, their properties are demolished. Anyone involved regardless of faith faces the force of the Law. That the new President if of a tribal background also  upsets Catherine and Amrit! The new Parliament will be a showcase for the world’s biggest democracy. World leaders love Modi because they see a dynamic leader and a rising India.
