Many like Sunny the so called secularists are losing sleep over the election by the Tory party of Rishi Sunak. Unable to see that the world is moving away from their comfort zone they are desperate to find someone to express their hatred. So they pick on Modi. Sunny calls himself British Indian but is well known for sympathies for those who want to break up India.
Let me dismantle his fake claims of India. He says BJP wants only Hindus to govern India. BJP even if it wanted to it could not because Democracy is strongly entrenched in the country. The Constitution of the country is unshakable.
India is a home to many minorities some of them persecuted because of their faith. The Zoroastrians, Baha’is, Tibetan Buddhists are living happily in India. There has been a Jewish presence in India for 2000 years.
He quotes Shashi Tharoor another secularists and asks would a minority person be a leader of the country in India. Well Sunny’s fellow Sikh was the Prime Minister up to 8 years ago. But a selective amnesia is trade mark of secularists. Sonya Gandhi a Catholic has been a de-facto Prime Minister of India for many years. Unlike Sunny’s false claim many Muslims hold positions in the BJP. Yes the UK is a place where you can break glass ceilings if you work hard for it. However the UK is firmly Christian as every major event is solemnised by the Church. India is Hindu majority country and its ethos and values will have to be acknowledged
